Metro Municipality in March 2019 experienced inflation of 0.16 percent

In March 2019, Metro City experienced inflation of 0.16 percent due to an increase in the index from 139.58 in February 2019 to 139.80 in March 2019. Five expenditure groups contributed to the formation of inflation, namely the foodstuffs group at 0.1057 percent ; processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group by 0.0266 percent; health group of 0.0239 percent; the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group was 0.0114 percent and the clothing group was 0.0003 percent. On the other hand, two expenditure groups contributed to the formation of deflation, namely the transport, communication and financial services group at 0.0091 percent and the education, recreation and sports group at 0.0007 percent.
